It is widely believed in the industry that the application of hydrogen energy is an important path for the iron and steel industry to achieve the goal of “double carbon”. Whether from the perspective of energy structure innovation or process structure innovation, the application of hydrogen metallurgy technology will bring revolutionary changes to the traditional iron and steel metallurgy technology. Therefore, there is a huge demand for hydrogen to achieve the emission reduction target of pre galvanized steel pipe. But the new generation of hydrogen metallurgy technology is just starting, and there is a long way to go in the future.

As an important force in the world iron and steel industry, China has made substantial steps in reducing carbon emission. The understanding of carbon peak carbon neutrality in iron and steel enterprises has been strengthened continuously; A number of steel companies have made clear the goal of carbon neutrality; The carbon peak implementation plan and carbon neutral technology roadmap for the steel industry have taken shape.

But our steel industry also faces some realistic problems. For example, extensive steel consumption habits, resulting in some unnecessary steel demand of square steel pipe; There is a large amount of scrap steel resources, but it is restricted by quality and logistics. Enterprise concentration is not enough, technology research and development resources are not concentrated, talent shortage, innovation is not high; Insufficient protection of intellectual property rights.
